About Us
The Capos Cheerleaders are the official ambassadors of the Palm Beach Capos. Our unique team trains those wanting to pursue a career in professional cheer for free. We ask for a full year commitment of game days, appearances, performances, and charity events.

Created the team in 2011 as the Palm Beach Mako Cheerleaders, in 2022 we renamed and realigned with a new team the Palm Beach Capos.

Brenda Ressler-Lavorano
Cheer Advisor
Brenda was born, and raised in Florida and currently resides in Palm Beach. During her years in high school, she was on the dance/ drill team. What a perfect way to blend the love of both! Not to mention having the best seat! Upon graduating from high school, she went directly to nursing school where she met Pam, who was a student and a cheerleader. This is how Brenda found out about the auditions to become a Miami Dolphins cheerleader. Brenda auditioned for and made the Miami Dolphins Cheer Team at the age of 19.
