Palm Beach Capos Fall to Tarpon Springs Pirates, 49-32
Holiday, FL — The Palm Beach Capos were defeated 49-32 by the Tarpon Springs Pirates on Saturday night at Anclote High School in Holiday, FL. Despite a standout performance from quarterback Tyler Kelly, who accounted for five total touchdowns, the Capos couldn’t overcome the Pirates’ powerful offense.
Kelly was the driving force for the Capos, throwing for three touchdowns and rushing for two more. His connections with wide receivers Tahje Bryant and William Hamilton helped keep the game competitive, but the Pirates’ offense ultimately proved too much.
Capos Head Coach Brent Bargerstock reflected on the game, saying, “We’ve identified and addressed our issues after the loss and will work on them this week at practice. I know we’ll regroup because this is a special team.”
The Capos are back home this week for "Youth Football Night" as they prepare to face the South Florida Lions. Fans can expect an exciting atmosphere as the team looks to bounce back and get back on track.
